He is a Physics teacher and teachers' educator. Head of the Research and Evaluation Authority, The David Yellin Academic College of Education; Head of The National Center for Physics Teachers at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He is involved in teacher training and curriculum development. He served as co-developer and facilitator of the “Video-Didaktika” (Vidaktika) program which aims at developing teachers as peer mentors of their colleagues based on authentic classroom video evidence. He also collaborates with research groups in Germany and the United States.
