Dean of Faculty of Education and Professor of Philosophy of Education at the University of Haifa. In addition, he currently serves as the president of the Religious Education Association, is a fellow of the International Seminar on Religious Education and Values, a fellow of the U.S.-based Philosophy of Education Society, and a past editor of the journal, Religious Education.

He holds an MA in educational assessment and a PhD in philosophy of education from Stanford University.
