Director of the Master’s degree programs, deputy director and senior lecturer in the Department of Natural Sciences at the Michlala - Jerusalem College. She serves as chair of the Meitzav (Hebrew acronym for 'Growth and Effectiveness Measures for Schools') Committee for middle school science and technology. She has taught science in middle school and at the Michlala - Jerusalem College, trained teachers to teach the natural sciences.Her main areas of endeavor are meaningful learning and meaningful instruction of scientific concepts, misconceptions in science, and development of creative thinking through everyday science. Dr. Yechieli holds a PhD degree in science education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, received in 1997.
