Associate professor in the School of Education at Bar-Ilan University; head of the Educational Counseling program. He conducted his post-doctoral specialization as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University (U.S.). Prof. Yablon studies affective aspects of behavior and learning and his research focuses on the risk behaviors of students in school, on prevention programs and on education towards peace. He was the coordinator of the Initiative's committee on "From Research to Practice in Early Childhood Education." Prof. Yablon holds a Ph.D degree in education from Bar-Ilan University, received in 2003.
