Senior lecturer and head of the Educational Counseling program in the Department of Counseling and Human Development, University of Haifa. She is also a member of the executive committee of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) and a member of the editorial boards of Developmental Psychology and Emerging Adulthood academic journal.

Her research addresses the development of values and social behavior among adolescents, the influence of culture and context on values and cultural identity, and the interaction between values and emotional wellbeing; her research pertains to the fields of developmental psychology, personality psychology and educational psychology. 

She holds a PhD degree in psychology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, received in 2008.
