Dr. Haggai Kupermintz

Bio sketch: Senior lecturer in
the Faculty of Education at the University of Haifa and a member of the
professional board of the National Authority for Measurement and Evaluation in
Education (RAMA). He is a past Co-Director of the Center for Research on Peace
Education. His research examines intergroup empathy processes, with a focus on
Jewish-Arab relations in Israel, and the educational alternatives for improving
intergroup relations through fostering emotional and cognitive skills. In the
area of educational assessment, his work includes conceptual and empirical
examination of measurement and evaluation in learning and instruction processes
(specifically collaborative learning and higher order skills), educational
program evaluation, and policy setting processes.
Dr. Kupermintz holds
a PhD in educational psychology from Stanford University, received in 1999.
