Associate Professor in the School of Education at Tel Aviv University's Department of Special Education and School Counseling. His main areas of research are stress inoculation and prevention programs, adjustment processes or lack thereof to new social settings, coping and resilience under pressure, and optimal development. Prof. Israelashvili holds a PhD degree in social psychology from Tel Aviv University, received in 1990.
