Head of the Education, Society and Culture Program at the University of Haifa and a faculty member at the Mandel School for Educational Leadership. His research concerns the interfaces between religion, citizenship and education in contexts and settings of education amongst ethnic and religious minorities. Specifically, he is interested in issues of equality, recognition, power-sharing, and reforms in the politics and policies of civics education, teacher education, informal education, and Islamic education
