Mathematics teacher (retired), taught for over 20 years at the Hebrew University High School and at the David Yellin College of Education, and was a regular participant in the "Songs and Sessions" radio program. Following her retirement, she directed the Israeli School in Moscow; currently, she is involved in training elementary school mathematics teachers and in the Mathematics for Outstanding Students project in the School of Education at the Hebrew University. Dr. Kessler has a teaching certificate in mathematics from the University of Kishinev and a Ph.D. (aapplied mathematics) from the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics, received in 1973.
