Ph.D Adam Lefstein
Member, Consensus committee: Optimal management of professional development

Bio sketch:
Associate professor in the Department of Education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, founder and director of the Laboratory for the Study of Pedagogy, which investigates issues around teaching and learning, discourse and cooperation among teachers, education policy enactment and educational improvement processes. He was formerly a senior lecturer at the Institute of Education at the University of London, and directed the 'Community of Thinking' program at the Branco Weiss Institute in Jerusalem. His research focuses on the reciprocal relationships between policy, pedagogy and interaction in classrooms. Dr. Lefstein holds a PhD degree in education from King’s College London, received in 2005.
