Her main research interests are musical development in children; the musical experience in early childhood and musical memories of adults; and, the impact of intervention to promote phonological development in preschoolers on their pre-reading skills. Dr. Gorali-Turel earned her Ph.D. in musicology in 1997 from Bar-Ilan University.
