Senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Haifa. His research addresses issues of educational testing and evaluation and how they affect educational policy-making and support learning and teaching processes. In the context of educational reforms, his work includes conceptual and empirical examination of testing and evaluation validity and their usefulness. He is a member of the professional board of the National Authority for Measurement and Evaluation in Education and is involved in evaluation projects in schools and in teacher training centers. He investigates the psychology of personal and collective identities in conflict situations and is a past Co-Director of the Center for Research on Peace Education. Dr. Kupermintz earned his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Stanford University in 1999.
